Southland Tool was a sponsor and exhibitor last week at the Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport (WWETT) show last week from February 23-26, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
February weather in Indianapolis is a lot less pleasant than Southern California, but thanks to the skywalks around the convention center you could get to restaurants, hotels and the convention without going outside. The city was beautiful to look at, but after spending some time outside you were glad to be at the show!
WWETT show highlights included higher attendance this year, by about 10%. This year marked the 35th anniversary of the WWETT Show, and the fourth consecutive year that the event was held in Indianapolis.
The Southland Tool exhibit was always slammed with people – apologies to any customers we didn’t get to see, as some appeared to pass by several times and we were always busy.
Southland Tool was a featured brand on the official WWETT pickup truck, which was offered as a Grand Prize during the convention. Congratulations to grand prize winner Max Silva of Warren Environmental!
We brought more products (and more new products) to display at the show this year, so our customers could really get a feel for all of the sizes of tools we offer.
We met new customers from Singapore, Japan, France and Italy who were interested in our products.
The best part of the conference is just saying hi to our loyal customers that buy from us every day. They are the reason we are in business! It’s nice to get to say hi and catch up with some personal contact.

Please join us next year for the 2016 WWETT show, which will be in Indianapolis once again on Wednesday, February 17, through Saturday, February 20. We’ll see you there!
